Sam Shen
Director
Mr. Shen is responsible for managing MIC's business development and consulting services. He also acts as Senior Industry Consultant, providing consultation to both governmental agencies and private enterprises.
Mr. Shen has more than 17 years of experience in the IT industry. He first came to MIC in 1991, researching software and information service industries. During his eleven years with MIC and other divisions of III, Mr. Shen lead several major projects helping the government formulate and implement its industry development policy for the domestic software industry. In 2000, he went on to start his own venture capital business, successfully raising two funds focusing on software and IC design-related industries, with a total of USD$23 million under management. Mr. Shen rejoined MIC as Deputy General Director in 2004.
Mr. Shen holds a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree with concentration in Public Information System Management from Indiana University.
